ABOUT
Hannah is an award-winning Theatre Director and the Artistic Director of the multi-award-winning Burnt Lemon Theatre.
Her projects encompass innovative new musicals, contemporary new writing, and dynamic productions that push the boundaries of traditional theatre. She also works as an Assistant and Associate Director on mid to large-scale productions and is training to be an illusion consultant under Jamie Harrison, further pushing the boundaries of theatrical innovation.

Hannah holds a BA in Acting and Contemporary Theatre from East 15 Acting School, where she trained under Uri Roodner. She is passionate about working with and developing opportunities for new writers, leading the new musical artist development scheme Overture alongside Recreate Agency.

Hannah’s previous work has been nominated for a WhatsOnStage Award and Visionary Honours Award, as well as winning the LET Stepladder Award and New Diorama's Untapped Award. She has also been nominated for Best Director by Broadway World.
Her directing credits include Welcome To Serene (New Wolsey), Millennials (The Other Palace), The Marathon Project (The Lowry), Tokyo Rose (UK Tour), Footloose (Leicester Curve), Merrily We Roll Along (Leicester Curve), The Half Moon Shania (Vault Festival and UK Tour), and Here Comes The Flood (Oxford Playhouse). She has also worked as a research consultant on Jerusalem (West End), associate director on SuperYou (West End Workshop), assistant director on She Loves Me (Sheffield Crucible), associate director and composer for Shorts and Shocks (New Diorama) and illusion assistant on Stranger Things: The First Shadow (West End Workshop).
Through Burnt Lemon, Hannah is an associate artist of Birmingham Hippodrome, MAST Mayflower, Leicester Curve, and previously Pleasance London.

Hannah's work is characterised by its political urgency. Her dedication to collaboration and experimentation continually challenges and redefines what theatre can be.
